My opinions on Spanish, and Spanish-speaking people can be quite biased but I do prove my point. Why should the United States and the people living here have to bend backwards to learn YOUR language? I understand to help with communication, but you don’t understand any other foreign people from lets say, China or Africa, expecting you to know their language. They learn ENGLISH because they want to live here and knows that this is a better place to live than wherever they came from. I’m Mexican-American and part Chippewa as well. I may be ignorant to not know another language, but I have been fine not knowing another language since the places I’ve hung out at/gone to the people all know English. I mean I’m pretty sure most of the Native Americans who were forced off their land and onto Reservations had to learn English. Why should we bend over backwards to accommodate the Spanish-Speaking people? They say this is an equal land and such, but yet we’re making it easier for people to NOT learn English. English is not this countries native language, but neither is Spanish of Mexico. I’m just in the mood to argue, but maybe with someone who has sense instead of someone who speaks Spanish who bluntly saying I’m Racist and calling me names because of me being part Hispanic. When my high-end job requires me to learn Spanish for clients, than that is the moment I learn it, otherwise I don’t feel the need to communicate in the language. Just saying >_>
